Cardo Venture is an off-road helmet with an integrated Mesh intercom and speakers and acoustics developed by JBL. It combines an off-road helmet, DMC group communication and a JBL sound system in one factory-integrated construction. It is designed for motorcyclists who regularly ride off-road with others and want to use an intercom without installing an additional control unit on the outside of the helmet.
The second-generation Dynamic Mesh Communication system enables conversations in groups of up to 31 motorcyclists. The built-in 40 mm speakers developed by JBL support conversations, music and announcements, while voice control reduces the need to use buttons while riding.
The helmet and intercom are designed as one system. The electronics are integrated into the construction, so there is no additional protruding control unit on the shell. All electronic components are removable and serviceable and can later be replaced with newer components.
Dynamic Mesh Communication enables conversations in groups of up to 31 people, with a stated range of up to 1,6 km. Cardo Venture also supports Live Bluetooth Intercom and connection with devices from other leading brands.
The built-in 40 mm speakers developed by JBL support conversations, music and announcements. Natural Voice Operation allows selected functions to be controlled by voice commands. The system supports music sharing and wireless software updates. The electronics have an IP67 rating.
Cardo Venture uses a composite shell and four-density EPS liner. The helmet meets ECE R22.06 and DOT approval requirements. According to the manufacturer, 360° Turbine technology helps reduce rotational forces acting on the head.
Additional features include emergency-release cheek pads, a DD-type fastening and three shell sizes for six helmet sizes. The PRO-FIT™ system enables more precise adjustment of the interior to the shape of the head. Large air intakes and internal ventilation channels support airflow. The Ionic+® liner helps limit the growth of bacteria that cause unpleasant odours.
