Simple and innovative at the same time – BASIC tank ring

This functional tank ring allows you to attach a Hepco&Becker tank bag. The delivery includes both the BASIC tank ring and the tank bag fastening bracket, which can be screwed separately onto the tank bag, depending on the shape of the tank and the handlebar angle. The tank cap can be opened without any problems when the tank ring is installed.

In general, you only need this H&B tank ring and a tank bag, and you have everything you need. Each model-specific fuel tank ring is stored in the database for the respective motorcycle model under “My Bike”. If the tank ring is not in stock, you can also manually check the checklist available in this shop to see whether a universal tank ring is available for your desired model.

In Germany, tank bag systems do not require an ABE or an entry in the vehicle documents.

Difference between Lock-it and BASIC tank rings: The general function and operation remain the same. Compared with the Lock-it tank ring, the BASIC tank ring locks only mechanically. Lockable tank ring magnets help with centering. The only difference is the two magnets or plastic domes that are screwed onto the tank ring. The model-specific “metal ring” is identical for both versions.

Note: A tank bag with a Lock-it holder cannot be placed on a BASIC tank ring and vice versa. The tank bag holder and tank ring must belong to the same system.
