Anti-fog film FOGCITY EASY FCE004, universal for open-face helmet visors

FOGCITY EASY Fullface Open Face is an anti-fog film installed on the inside of a helmet glass/visor. The EASY series allows you to install it on practically any windshield. Installation is simple: just stick the film to the glass. Thanks to the highest-quality film and good edge sealing, moisture from exhaled air does not reach the glass, effectively preventing fogging.
How does the FogCity® EASY anti-fog film work? The film is made of high-quality material with moisture-absorbing properties. The mechanism is simple – it works like a sponge and therefore prevents fogging on the helmet visor surface.

INSTRUCTIONS ANTI-FOG FOGCITY® FILM
Step 1: Close the helmet visor and press it as tightly as possible (picture A).
Step 2: Stick adhesive tape to the center of the visor from the outside. Mark the planned upper edge of the film and the exact center of the visor on the attached tape. Use a fine liner or marker that does not stick to the tape or leave marks on the coated visor underneath the tape (picture B below). The upper edge of the film should be positioned at a height where it will not rub against the seal when the visor is opened and closed during subsequent use.
Step 3: Remove the visor from the helmet – follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer of your helmet model to avoid damaging it.
Then make sure that the inside of the visor is thoroughly cleaned, and remember that dirt and even the smallest dust particles will remain under the installed film for the rest of its "life".
Step 4: Peel the FogCity® film from its protective transport film. Gently fold the anti-fog film into a U shape. Hold the film by its edge without touching the adhesive surface. During this step, direct the self-adhesive side of the film toward the visor on which it will be installed (left image in picture D).
Step 5: Center the film using the tape attached to the previously marked center of the visor and the slight V-shaped indentation in the center of the film (picture E opposite). The upper edge of the film should not extend above the maximum height of the anti-fog protection previously marked on the tape.
Step 6: Begin by placing the upper and lower edges of the film in the center of the visor. Then gently spread the film outward over the remaining part of the visor – do not press on the film. Make sure that the film is centered according to the previous step and that the entire adhesive edge is in contact with the visor. If the self-adhesive edge does not stick to the glass at any point, carefully lift the left or right end of the film and place it back on the glass so that the self-adhesive strip adheres to the glass along its entire length.
Step 7: After placing the film in the correct position on the glass, gently press it along its edges, starting from the center and moving left and right.
Step 8: Remove the tape from the outside of the visor on which you marked the center of the visor and the upper edge of the film. Reinstall the visor on the helmet (again follow the helmet manufacturer's instructions). After installation, make sure that you can open and close the helmet visor properly and freely. For best results, it is recommended to wait 24 hours before using the helmet again, allowing the adhesive holding the film to cure.
CLEANING: FogCity film and the helmet visor should be cleaned only with very mild liquids, preferably just lukewarm water and a soft, gentle damp cloth. Both elements should be allowed to dry naturally before using the helmet again.
DO NOT USE MATERIALS THAT MAY SCRATCH THE GLASS OR FILM FOR CLEANING. DO NOT USE LIQUIDS CONTAINING WAX, AMMONIA OR ALCOHOL.
IMPORTANT: To prevent damage to the FogCity® film and the upper seal of the helmet windshield, be sure to leave sufficient space between the film and the upper edge of the glass. Ideally, the minimum distance of the film from the upper edge of the visor depends on the specific helmet model. Do not press the film against the visor on the central surface of the film (an air cushion should be created between the film and the glass); only the outer, self-adhesive edge may be pressed.
