Shield Joggers are part of Knox’s new Shield range, the result of years of research and development. Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene fibres, known for their strength and durability, are combined with elastane and cotton to create a single layer offering exceptional strength, abrasion resistance, flexibility and comfort. Suitable for all types of riding and terrain. The latest Micro-Lock Compact protectors are fitted at the knees and hips. The knee protectors can be easily removed through an invisible zipped pocket. A special Shield hoodie is also available.

PROTECTOR CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Storage: Store protectors hanging in a dry, ventilated place away from sunlight and direct heat sources. Do not leave them on the floor or under heavy objects, as this may cause deformation, tearing or other damage. Do not fold the jacket with the protector inside or fold the protector in half, as this may damage it. Keep away from chemicals that may damage the material and reduce its protective properties.

Care: Protectors and their fastenings should be checked regularly, at least once a year, for visible signs of wear. If protectors are worn or damaged, or there is any doubt about their condition, they must be replaced immediately. It is recommended that protectors be replaced every 5 years, regardless of their condition. Protectors should be replaced immediately after every road accident.

Care during washing: Carefully remove the protectors from the jacket or trousers before washing. Protectors may only be cleaned by hand.
