The new MICRO-LOCK back and limb protectors are the softest and most comfortable protectors Knox has ever produced, and fit the body completely. MICRO-LOCK protectors are very soft but become hard on impact, thereby increasing the energy absorbed by the protector and reducing the energy transmitted to the back.

PROTECTOR CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Storage: Keep the garments hanging in a dry, ventilated place, away from sunlight and direct heat sources. Do not leave them on the floor or under heavy objects – this may cause deformation, tearing or other damage. Do not fold the jacket with the protector inside or fold the protector in half, as this may damage it. Keep away from chemicals that may damage the material and cause it to lose its protective properties.

Maintenance: Protectors and their fastenings should be checked regularly (at least once a year) for visible signs of wear. If the protectors are worn or damaged, or if there are any doubts about their condition, they must be replaced immediately. It is recommended that protectors be replaced every 5 years, regardless of their condition. Protectors should be replaced immediately after every road accident.

Care during washing: Carefully remove the protectors from the jacket or trousers before washing. Protectors may only be cleaned by hand.
