Certified to EN1621-2 Level 2. The Knox Aegis back protector is the best-selling Level 2 back protector, covering more of the back than any other protector.

Aegis combines honeycomb technology with a durable outer shell and provides complete freedom of movement, making it ideal for racing motorcyclists. It features a removable, machine-washable liner and is available in six sizes for men and women. An optional Micro-Lock chest protector can also be fitted.

Aegis is CE-certified to the EN1621-2:2014 Level 2 standard for motorcycle back protectors and has passed tests in temperatures from +40C to -20C. This versatile back protector is suitable for motorcyclists, cyclists, skiers and snowboarders.

The flexible, adjustable spine protector moves freely over the cushioning honeycomb structure to provide maximum coverage of the protected area. Open-cell technology ensures highly effective ventilation and excellent airflow.

The adjustable waist system provides an individual fit, while the EVA foam on the inside improves comfort and safety. Additional side adjustment straps ensure a more secure fit around the spine. Comfortable shoulder straps feature a quick-release system and can be crossed for increased comfort. They can also be used to attach the optional Knox chest protector.

The removable, breathable and machine-washable spacer-fabric liner improves airflow. The protector is designed to be lightweight and airy without compromising safety. Kidney protectors can be removed, and additional coccyx protection is available in the eight-plate Race version.

Sizes are selected according to torso length. Two women’s sizes are available from five plates and 400 mm in length, while three men’s sizes are available: 7 plates and 475 mm, 8 plates and 510 mm, and 9 plates and 525 mm.
