Notes

Do not apply excessive force when installing or removing the lens guard, as this may damage or deform the lens.

Before using the camera, make sure both lens guards are installed correctly. The cutout in each lens guard must be aligned with the camera microphone. Otherwise, the camera will not be able to detect the lens guard.

Only when the lens guard is installed will an icon appear on the screen next to the battery status, along with a message.

If you attach the lens guard while the camera is recording, updating or formatting, the icon will appear in the bar without a message.

Lens guards may slightly affect the camera’s ability to stitch footage. For best results, point one lens at the subject being recorded.

Dirty or worn lens guards may affect overall image quality.

Avoid using lens guards in wet conditions, as they are not waterproof.

If the lens guards get wet, carefully dry each lens with a soft cloth to prevent fogging.

Lens guards contain magnets. Keep them away from pacemakers and other devices affected by magnetic interference.
