Certified according to EN1621-2 L2. The Knox Aegis back protector is the best-selling Level 2 back protector, covering the greatest amount of back area. Aegis combines honeycomb technology with a durable outer shell and offers complete freedom of movement, making it ideal for racing motorcyclists. It has a removable, machine-washable lining for freshness and is available in 6 sizes for men and women. An optional Micro-Lock chest protector can also be fitted.
Aegis is CE-certified to the EN1621-2:2014 Level 2 standard for motorcycle back protectors. It has also passed tests in temperatures from +40C to -20C. This makes it a versatile back protector not only for motorcyclists, but also for participants in other sports, including snowboarding, mountain biking and skiing.
Maximum coverage of the protected area is achieved with a flexible, adjustable spine protection section that moves freely over the cushioning honeycomb structure. Thanks to open-cell technology, Aegis has a highly effective ventilation system.
The adjustable waist system ensures a perfect fit, while the EVA foam used on the inside improves comfort and safety. Additional side adjustment straps provide a more secure fixation of the spine. Comfortable shoulder straps feature a quick-release system and can be crossed for greater comfort. They can also be used to attach the optional Knox chest protector.
The removable, machine-washable and breathable lining is made from spacer fabric, providing additional airflow. The protector is designed to be lightweight and airy without compromising safety. Kidney protectors can be removed, and additional coccyx protection is available in the eight-plate Race configuration.
