Thermo Grip Cover

Designed for recording in 8K resolution.

Greater comfort during longer shooting sessions.

The Thermo Grip Cover reduces the temperature of the X5 camera during extended 8K recording for more comfortable use.

*The Insta360 X5 records 8K at 30 frames per second, which increases power consumption and may cause the camera to heat up. This is normal.

Advanced graphene cooling technology.

The cover is made from a graphene-based phase-change material (PCM) that reduces the camera surface temperature by up to 7ºC when recording in 8K resolution.

Tested in a controlled laboratory environment compared with recording without the Thermo Grip Cover.

Notes

Make sure the camera is clean and dry before attaching the Thermo Grip Cover.

Carefully put on and remove the Thermo Grip Cover to avoid scratching or damaging the camera lenses.

Do not install or remove the Thermo Grip Cover while recording, as this may affect image stitching.

The Thermo Grip Cover is not compatible with the following Insta360 X5 accessories: Invisible Dive Case, Utility Frame, Water Sports Rope Mount and Mic Windshield.
