Relay PUIG 7-pin for LED turn signals

If you are looking for uniform and intense turn signals, choose Puig relays.

Technical information on turn-signal connection:

Most motorcycles use bimetallic relays. Their frequency, which determines the turn-signal flashing rhythm, depends on the amperage flowing through the circuit. When replacing the original turn signals with others of a different power, the amperage flowing through the circuit changes and consequently the turn-signal flashing frequency changes. If, on the other hand, the motorcycle uses electronic relays, whose frequency is independent of the amperage flowing through the circuit, changing the turn signals should not affect the flashing frequency.

Note: if you are unsure which relay your motorcycle uses, it is advisable to install the turn signals and check the flashing frequency.

If we replace the original turn signals with others that also use incandescent bulbs, we should check that they have the same power. If it differs, we should replace the turn-signal bulbs with others of the same power as the original ones. Our catalog includes boxes of bulbs with different power ratings.

If we replace the original turn signals with LED units, whose power is much lower than that of incandescent bulbs, we have two options for balancing the flashing frequency:

1. Incorporate one resistor in parallel in the circuit on the right side and another in the circuit on the left side. If we replace all four turn signals, we must use resistor ref.4298O. If, on the other hand, we replace only two turn signals, one on each side, we must use resistor ref.5873O

A diagram for parallel connection is supplied with the resistors.

Note: on most models, using resistors prevents the \Warning\ from functioning correctly.

2. Identify your motorcycle's flasher relay, its location and number of pins, and replace it with the corresponding one from the list we offer.

On most motorcycles, the \Warning\ works correctly after changing the relay.

Note: some motorcycles on the market do not have a specific flasher relay, so it is impossible to replace it. Likewise, if more than one relay is involved in the flashing circuit, replacing a single relay may not solve the problem.
