Castrol Outboard 2T premium mineral-based engine oil is intended for lubricating most modern American, European and Japanese two-stroke (2-T) water-cooled high-performance (forced) engines installed on watercraft, where the engine manufacturer recommends engine oils meeting NMMA TC-W3 or the earlier NMMA TC-WII and NMMA TC-W quality classes. Castrol Outboard 2T engine oil has a very low flash point, excellent lubricating properties, high thermal and thermo-oxidation stability, minimal sulfated ash content, i.e. ashless (< 0.005 mass%), protects the engine against wear, keeps the combustion chamber, spark plug and piston rings clean from deposits, maintains torque, enables rapid and complete combustion of the fuel mixture, and provides full protection against rust and corrosion, thereby preventing corrosive-mechanical wear of engine parts. This engine oil can be used in both premix and oil-injection systems. The optimal fuel-to-oil ratio is up to 100:1 according to the engine manufacturer's instructions. Mixes instantly with fuel.
