cylinder kit Athena 70cc Ø47.6mm 10mm piston pin for Minarelli vertical

The latest 2021 Big Bore Athena cylinder kit with 70cc and 47.6mm bore for 10mm gudgeon pin suitable for scooter with upright 2-stroke AC Minarelli engine like MBK Booster, Yamaha BW’s or Aprilia SR.

With this cylinder Athena has succeeded in a real revolution in the 2-stroke range for the air-cooled Minarelli engine. Due to the flange-mount directly on the crankcase, the stud bolts are eliminated, which is why the secondary outlets and a very large oval exhaust could be realised! The intake port has been redesigned and now has a CNC-milled fifth channel.

Through extensive analysis and testing on the cylinder and also because of years of experience in racing, the performance in terms of power and torque could be greatly improved and reached for the first time ever values in the range up to 19hp with a series produced 70cc 2-stroke AC cylinder for Minarelli engines!

The numerous innovative technical solutions (patent pending) introduced in this project make it possible to achieve performance never before achieved with this engine without porting.
