cylinder head Malossi Maxi 4V H2O for Piaggio 125-300cc 4-stroke LC

Malossi 4-valve cylinder head for between 15-25% performance increase. Great for water-cooled 4-stroke 125, 180, 200, 250 and 300cc Piaggio engines (Leader and Quasar). On 125-200cc engines larger cylinder kits and 4-valve pistons are required, on the 250 and 300cc, no modifications are required. Cast aluminium alloy, hardened and sand blasted. Designed to the finest tolerances. inlets worked to 25mm and outlets to 22.2mm. Cylinder head pre-assembled and ready to install.

Installation information:

1. On 125cc-200cc only suitable in combination with Malossi cylinderkits.

2. On 250cc-300cc engines in combination with OEM cylinder the OEM piston needs small modifications. (Instructions included)

3. In general suitable on vehicles with the old version of Piaggio cylinder head (slider rocker arms). Mostly fitted till year of production 2014 (but also used longer). To mount the Malossi head the rocker arms, camshaft etc. of the OEM head have to be installed in the new head. Additional power increase by using Malossi camshaft M.5911962.

4. On younger vehicles with newer version of Piaggio cylinder head, which uses roller rocker arms (mostly 2014 up), the OEM rocker arms, camshaft etc. can not be used in the Malossi cylinder head. An additional valve train conversion kit need to be installed. Please use KIT.PI.39397 for 125-200cc engines (requires camshaft M.5911962) or for 250-300cc engines use KIT.PI.39402 (requires camshaft PI-8759585).(Applies only Gilera Runner 125 ST, Piaggio Beverly 125 10-, Beverly 300 10-, Piaggio X-Evo, X 10, Vespa GTS 125-300, GTV 300.)
