CDI ignition unit Top Performances digital racing for Minarelli AM6 Euro4

Top Performances Racing CDI unit / engine control unit ECU suitable for gear shift moped with Minarelli AM6 engine with Euro4 emission standard.

The ECU has 2 different mappings with digital ignition timing adjustment and a separate switch between map 1 and 2, which can be attached to the handlebar. With both mappings the speed limit in the OEM ECU is removed and allows speeds up to 16.000rpm.

Map 1 is the racing ignition curve, which is activated automatically. It is intended for 70cc and Big Bore cylinder. The mapping switch for the handlebar can be connected, but does not have to. If it is not connected, Map 1 is automatically active.

Map 2 is a racing ignition curve mainly for 50cc cylinder.

Attention, important notes from the manufacturer:

Beta vehicles: When using the Top Performances ECU on Betas the motor stop switch on the handlebar is out of function! The engine must be switched off by turning the ignition key.

Top Performances recommends not to use the ECU on a cast iron cylinder over 50cc. The changed ignition timing leads to higher temperatures, which a cast iron cylinder may not be able to withstand permanently. Piston jamming can be caused.
