4.2 mm thick plastic insulating flange / flange gasket / spacer suitable for Simson with tuning carburetor. For thermal separation between carburetor and cylinder inlet / intake manifold.
Old, cracked and brittle flange gaskets often cause leaks, causing the engine to draw in "false air" - a common cause of rough running. The insulating flange also prevents "boiling" of the fuel in the carburetor due to high cylinder temperatures in summer operation.
