Ignition system tester DIVERSE / IMPORT JMP measuring range 0-40,000 volts

JMP ignition system tester with measuring range: 0-40,000 volts. Suitable for checking the ignition voltage and its performance. The performance can be measured by adjusting the installed screw.
Application:
- Remove the spark plug connector and plug it into the spark tester.
If necessary, the adapter can be unscrewed and screwed on.
- Attach the crocodile clip to earth
- Adjust the screw to approx. 10mm (an intact ignition system should skip the spark gap of approx. 15mm)
- Make sure that the spark tester cannot come close to the ground
- The engine can be started
Important:
- For multi-cylinder engines, the remaining spark plug connectors must be connected to earth (otherwise ignition parts may be damaged)
- If spark plugs are removed, please note that an explosive mixture could escape through the spark plug openings.
- The adjustment of the radio link via the screw may only be carried out with the ignition switched off
- When the ignition is switched on, neither the ignition system nor the spark tester may be touched
