Polini Evolution steering tube and fork set suitable for Piaggio Zip SP Race Scooter. With modifications, the steering column can also be used for Vespa Smallframe models (Vespa 125 PK, Vespa 125 Primavera, Vespa 50 Special, Vespa 50).
The head tube is lowered and lowers the front of the vehicle and therefore also the center of gravity. This increases the pressure on the front wheel and improves turn-in behavior.
Polini has also reinforced the design of the front fork in areas subject to particularly high stress in order to eliminate any weak points, such as those found on the original fork. The height of the fork can be varied with the supplied spacer washers / shims and adapted to the course of the track.
The head tube is supplied without the lower swing arm. This can be taken from the original head tube using the supplied accessory kit.
With a special, separately available head tube adapter, this steering tube can also be used in smallframe Vespas. To do this, the head tube is shortened to the appropriate length at the top, the special adapter is fitted and welded on. This then fits the original handlebar mounts of the smallframes.
The lower and upper bearing set must be ordered separately for installation.
