If the thread for the M8 stud bolt is defective, overtightened or completely unusable, cut an M9 thread with the enclosed tap and insert the special threaded bolt with the M9 side. Now the stud bolt with M8 thread is fully loadable again and the component is saved. The special 40mm stud bolts in this set have one side with an M8 thread and one M9 side for use.
