High-temperature black silicone Mannol 85G

MANNOL Gasket Maker Black is a black sealant that vulcanizes into silicone rubber at room temperature. It offers exceptional resistance to high temperatures. It creates reliable seals, does not crack or shrink, and does not change under sudden temperature fluctuations. It replaces asbestos, rubber, felt, paper, cork and metal gaskets. Effective for repairing: valve mechanisms, transmission oil pans and thermostat housings.
Resistant to lubricants, coolants, gasoline, kerosene, water and acid solutions. Easy to apply and remains flexible.
The surface to be sealed should be clean, dry and free from oil and grease. Apply the sealant evenly and immediately join the parts without allowing evaporation time. When applied to an oil-free surface, flatten and smooth the surface with soapy water. The gasket can be subjected to loads after 24 hours. Operating temperatures range from -40 °C to +230 °C (briefly). Store in the tightly closed original packaging in a dry place at temperatures from +5 °C to +25 °C.
