The SHELL OFF-ROAD version was designed based on the experience and feedback received from users of the previous model. The changed elements include: an extensive back-protecting plate with a belt of hard panels along the spine and deeper front elements that better protect the ribs. The armor also features special hard shoulder straps which, when screwed to the front and rear panels, help keep the entire protector system in the correct position. This is an improved model introduced from the 2020 season, when stricter PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) standards became applicable to motorcycle clothing. This means that the garment meets the latest possible standards applicable in the European Union for this type of equipment. In addition to protector certification, the motorcycle clothing underwent, among other tests, durability testing of the outer material against abrasion and the seams against tearing. Product certification according to the latest PPE standard introduces the highest possible safety standards.
