Symptoms of a dragging clutch bearing include: Difficulity shifting between gears, creeping at idle, squealing belt at idle, worn flat spots on the inner cogs of the belt
Any time you rebuild your primary clutch you should also change out the bearings and washers. There should be one washer on each side of the bearing. After time these washers can break and fly out of the clutch, get deformed or melted from a worn bearing or blown belt
