CHOKE LEVER BGM PRO FOR VESPA SMALLFRAME WITH TUNING CARBURETOR

Choke control with original lever but for larger carburetors (e.g. PHBL, PHBH, TM, CP)

PROBLEM
The original choke cable (rigid wire) is not compatible with the choke system of the larger carburetors. These also often only have a direct choke control on the carburetor.
To start the engine you have to open the seat, take out the tool compartment and feel the choke lever on the carburetor more or less blindly. As soon as the engine is warm the same is done again to deactivate the choke.

SOLUTION
To operate the choke comfortably from the outside with the choke knob above the fuel tap, we offer this choke lever. It replaces 1:1 the original lever, but a conventional cable with clamping nipple can be used. There are two advantages of using a loose clamp nipple instead of a cable screwed directly into the lever:

• the choke cable can easily be unhooked to remove the carburetor
• the inner cable is not kinked during choke operation

Due to the special design of the bgm Pro choke lever, the choke cable can simply be unhooked to remove the carburetor.
This saves time and protects the hands in the cramped carburetor space of a smallframe.

Through the use of a clamping nipple, the choke cable is not bent each time the choke lever is operated and is therefore permanently durable and safe against tearing.
Due to the adapted contour of the lever, it can no longer jump out of the guide of the choke button.

NOTE: The bgm Pro choke lever is suitable for all carburetor types that are equipped or retrofitted with a cable choke.
For almost all carburetor types we offer the matching cable choke adapter set to convert from flap/pull choke to cable choke.
To use the lever, a suitable universal choke cable is required. The lever already comes with a suitable clamping nipple.
