The solid, CNC manufactured clutch basket has an excellent concentricity as well as an enormously high torsional stiffness. It thus offers perfect clutch engagement with a clearly defined grinding point and clean cutting. ULTRALUBE
The latest generation Superstrong 2.0 CR clutch now features an innovative new technology: Ultralube. Ultralube delivers (through precisely defined bores and centrifugal force) gear oil both to the highly loaded hub profile (between clutch basket and clutch hub) and to the clutch facings themselves. This technology, unique in the vespa sector, makes the legendary Superstrong 2.0 CR clutch even more stable than it already is. A clutch designed for eternity.

FIT / UPGRADE
The clutch basket offered here can be used as a high-quality upgrade for every Cosa2 clutch type. It was used by Piaggio ex works in the Cosa FL2 models from 1992 onwards. In the PX models it was used from about 1996 up to the last years of manufacture.

MODIFICATIONS
Vehicles with less than 180ccm (ex works) need the clutch cover of the 200ccm models, if the original existing clutch cover is not to be modified.
Vehicles before 1998 must have the Superstrong 2.0 CR clutch (see documents under "Downloads").

LOAD TYPE CR
The Supertrong 2.0 CR uses the clutch facing type of the Honda CR80/VFR400.
These have a larger effective radius, less weight, wider plates and a very resilient facing material. The advantages are a lighter clutch, which separates faster and is still extremely resilient. If this basket is to be used as a replacement for a standard clutch basket, please also order the matching CR clutch facings at the same time.
