derestriction kit BGM incl. ECU / CDI ignition box for Piaggio Liberty, Zip, Vespa Primavera, Sprint 50 Euro5

A technical modification to the new Piaggio Euro5 engine generation is no longer easy possible. Without adaptation of the engine control unit the derestriction is no longer to implement in Piaggio Liberty, Zip 50cc or Vespa Primavera or Sprint 50cc with Euro5 injection engine.

The BGM derestriction kit provides a remedy and has an adapted ECU / CDI ignition box, which does NOT have to be taught with an engine tester on the vehicle. Only a short procedure with an ignition key code is necessary. The ECU will be recognised by the Piaggio readout device during a workshop visit and will not be output as a fault. To prevent over-revving of the engine, the speed of the BGM ECU is locked at 10,000U/min.

At the variator cover 2 anti-tampering screws are installed, these are replaced by the two supplied Piaggio OEM screws. On the new engine power matching variator roller weights and clutch springs are supplied in the kit. A plug which is needed on the intake hose is included too.

BGM offers here a complete and easy to install kit for derestriction new Piaggio / Vespa Euro5 engine types with fuel injection. No tuning or engine tester necessary!

• open CDI / ECU ignition unit (engine protection at 10,000rpm)

• isolator bracket for ignition coil
• variator rollers matched to the kit
• spare variator cover screws
• closing plug
• reinforced clutch springs matched to the kit

If a restricted intake hose is installed on the scooter (at least at 25km/h version) then we recommend additionally the assembly of item number BGM49093.
