Polini set clutch discs including steel friction discs and clutch springs. The friction linings are made of special cork material, which has always been the best material for clutch linings. Unfortunately, this is rarely used today.

This set can be used as a high performance spare part for tuned engines. However, it can also be installed in standard engines if a new clutch is due due to wear and tear.

Polini recommends overnight immersion of the cork discs in oil before assembly to allow the friction linings to soak up oil. This improves the break-in behaviour of the new pads. The oil should be the same as that used in the engine / gearbox.
