Made of HDPE 8mm thick plastic, our Xtrem skid plate will cover the full frame until the footpegs, protect the water pump, cases and the linkage . The Polyehtylen plastic is 30 to 40% lighter than a similar skid plate in aluminum. Does no generate vibrations and does not undergo deformations. It will also be more resistant than carbon fiber skid plates.
