Optimised engine mount by Polini for Piaggio Zip SP 1. The motor support extends the wheelbase by 15 mm and increased the installed position of the motor. In addition, high-quality SKF bearings and aluminium bushings - rather than rubber dampeners - ensure a well-supported and torsion-free mounting of the engine. These modifications allow higher cornering speeds and a much earlier acceleration when exiting a corner. The engine is located centrally as is customary at the Zip SP1. The motor mount can also be installed on the Piaggio Zip2 if used with the SP1 rear wheel. Otherwise there is an offset issue if the SP2 wheel is retained.
