The inner cables are made from special cable steel (and not from the today mostly used brittle stainless steel). Therefore, the Schmitt Premium cables do not break as quickly as those from mass production.

Thus, for all fans of classic vehicles, a cable true to the original is used here. Since an inner cable manufactured in the old way tends to rust, it is lubricated with an Interflon high-performance fluid grease for life.
